William "Bill" Rabbitt was born in Wyoming of Cherokee ancestry. He does little preliminary sketching, allowing color to shape his forms, his paintings. He is a member of IACA, SWAIA, Cherokee Historical Society, Who's Who in American Art and IACA's 1989 Artist of the Year.
