Justin Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ Track Getting Early Buzz

One radio host gets an early listen to the Believe track, out March 26, and compares it to Justin Timberlake’s work.

It's still two weeks until Justin Bieber drops his single "Boyfriend," but there's already a lot of buzz about it online.

Radio host Mick Lee at Z104.3 in Baltimore got to hear the track and has great stuff to say about it. "All I'm saying … is wow … so much different than his previous music," he wrote on the station's website. "Produced by Mike Posner … the best way to describe it is a mix of Justin Timberlake 'Sexy Back' … N Sync 'Girlfriend' — AND get this … he raps … best comparison is it sounds like 'Wait' by the Ying Yang Twins …"

Bieber's vocal producer Kuk Harrell recently spoke about the track, which is set for release on March 26, to Hollywoodlife.com, describing it as "hot." "Now that Justin is 18, he knows what his brand is," he said. "He knows what kind of songs are right for him. That's how you know you are genuine artist. Justin is a genuine artist!"

Harrell added that he thinks this album could help him win a Grammy, noting, "Justin is a very creative person. He has tons of ideas. When we are working together, I allow him to flush out all of those ideas. He will be an amazing producer one day."

"Boyfriend" is the lead single off Bieber's next album, Believe, due later this year.

"You can't really expect anything from my album. It's really, really different," Bieber told MTV News. "And it's new; it's not the same thing everyone's used to hearing right now on the radio. It's really exciting for me, 'cause I'm able to break out of my shell and show my fans what I'm all about and show other people who might not like my music that maybe they can like my music.

"I'm not trying to lose any of my young fans," he continued. "I'm not trying to lose any of my fans, I'm just trying to gain fans, and I think that's the best way to do it. Rather than try to grow up and lose your fans, you can get better and evolve and gain respect from more people."

Michael Jackson Doctor Conrad Murray Files Appeal

Murray will represent himself as he contests involuntary manslaughter conviction for which he faces up to four years in state prison.

As expected, Michael Jackson's former doctor Conrad Murray has filed an appeal to challenge his involuntary manslaughter conviction.

According to TMZ, Murray filed the petition in pro per, which means he has decided to forego hiring legal representation and represent himself. He reportedly listed "Men's Central Jail" and his booking number in the space on the appeal document where a lawyer would normally list a firm's name or contact information.

TMZ also reported that although Murray seems to be without a lawyer, he is still in communication with Nareg Gourjian, one of the attorneys who represented him during his manslaughter trial.

"This case presents a gold mine of issues for any appellate lawyer," Gourjian told TMZ. "Dr. Murray is confident that the Court of Appeal will vindicate him."

Following the guilty verdict, Murray's lead defense lawyer Ed Chernoff told CNN, "What matters most right now is trying to keep Dr. Murray from taking up a prison cell in this community. That's what we're focusing on right now, and we'll deal with an appeal after that."

Murray was sentenced to four years in jail Tuesday, but due to overcrowding, he's unlikely to serve his full term.

Earlier this week, new mom Beyoncé stepped out to debut her post-baby body for the first time. Decked out one night in a body-hugging red number and another in a glittering black cocktail dress, B was out in full force to support her hubby Jay-Z when he took the stage for a two-night engagement at New York's famed Carnegie Hall.

B certainly left her fans speechless with her ability to bounce back to hotness just a month after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy, and her former Destiny's Child pals were equally floored. Michelle Williams dished to MTV News, "Man, "She looks fantastic, amazing, amazing, amazing. I wasn't surprised because even before she was pregnant she had a six pack, she was very toned. So, obviously it just went back very quickly."

Fellow DC gal pal Kelly Rowland also can't handle how Beyoncé is bringing sexy back one hot dress at a time. "She looks fantastic. She looks fantastic. I told her she looks so hot!" Rowland exclaimed. "She looks so hot — just even sexier. Love her!"

And Williams noted that it's not just Beyoncé who is doing well these days, but so is 1-month-old Blue. "Absolutely! Absolutely [I've seen everyone]!" she said. "Everybody's doing fantastic, amazing."

Williams' sentiments about Blue Ivy mirror those of comments Rowland previously made about J and B's glory. "She's absolutely beautiful!" Rowland said back in January. "And I say that with such a huge grin! I'm so excited.

"We all just stared at her," she added about meeting the baby for the first time. "I just stared at her. She is so beautiful."
